In the video’s Professor J.A. Verschakelen (CV) presents the current role of high-resolution CT (HRCT) in the diagnostic work-up of diffuse and interstitial lung disease (DILD).
Aims
- recognize the different basic HRCT appearance patterns of lung disease
- suggest a diagnosis and differential diagnosis of diffuse interstitial lung diseases (based on the recognition of the appearance patterns and on the study of the distribution pattern)
- describe the indications and limitations of HRCT in different lung diseases
